Il film inizia
con un concerto di beneficenza dei Chipmunks, in Francia. Alvin ferisce accidentalmente Dave, che viene ricoverato in
ospedale, mentre i Chipmunk vengono affidati 

temporaneamente alla Zia Jackie. Purtroppo Toby, nipote della
Zia Jackie, la fa cadere dalle scale, facendo finire anche lei all'ospedale. Tocca così a Toby occuparsi dei
Chipmunk. La prima 

sera in cui i quattro stanno a casa insieme, Alvin e fratelli, si divertono, senza
pensare alle regole di casa, e ricevono una chiamata da Dave. Quest' ultimo, non sapendo di Zia Jackie, si 

arrabbia con Alvin...................
